Collaborative Endeavors Grant RFP

Collaborative Endeavors funding comes in the form of small grants (typically $5,000 or less) that support faculty interested in creating collaborative opportunities with 4-VA partner institutions. A limited amount of 4-VA funds at VT are available to support special projects and efforts to explore feasibility of future projects in research and course design. These smaller awards are intended to promote and support faculty activity around state-wide initiatives and Virginia Tech’s priority focus areas. Collaborative Endeavors grants are not awarded for full-research projects, course/program redesign, or development projects but can provide valuable contributions or result in proposals for funding in either of these categories.  The exploration of shared course opportunities is one example of a collaborative endeavor that could be supported by this funding.

Funding amounts vary according to the proposed project needs and all proposals must identify expenditures leading to spend down by the end of the fiscal year in which grant funds are awarded.
