4-VA @ RU
Radford University, which recently began participating in 4-VA, is a comprehensive public university that has received national recognition for many of its undergraduate and graduate academic programs, as well as its sustainability initiatives. We serve the Commonwealth of Virginia and the nation through a wide range of academic, cultural, human service, and research programs. First and foremost, the university emphasizes teaching and learning and the process of learning in its commitment to the development of mature, responsible, well-educated citizens.
Radford University seeks to advance both the 4-VA goals as well as our own by fostering pedagogical and research collaborations with partner schools through course sharing, course redesign grants, and collaborative ventures between 4-VA institutions.
Complementary Funding
Radford University participates in complementary funding as funds are available.
Faculty members named as a collaborator in a proposal funded by another 4-VA institution are eligible for complementary funding. Depending on funds availability, awards are disbursed after the primary 4-VA institution notifies the faculty member’s home institution of the collaborative partnership. Collaborators must inquire about availability and request funds from their home institution by contacting their institution’s 4-VA Campus Coordinator.
Please contact Jeanne Mekolichick, the Radford University campus coordinator, with any questions jmekolic@radford.edu.
